Ron won three world records for speared fish and was a member of the famed "Addicts" spearfishing club. Members included Ron Church, Mickey Church, Bob Shea, Bill Howard, Frank Leinhauple, Tony Sanchez, Setts Fukuno & Verne Fleet.
