This photo was taken after a spear fishing contest, part of the opening day Celebration at Marineland-of-the-Pacific in Palos Verdes Estates, California 1954.

Ironically about 25 years later, myself, Ron's daughter, worked at Marineland, swam in the cove and went to Palos Verdes Estates High School.

Maybe that is why the cove and waters around there were my favorite place to be.
